New partnership for educational camps in Japan

Code School Finland has entered a long-term co-operation agreement with GLiN Co., Ltd. , a Japanese company specializing in providing educational services and content for the Japanese market. In the first phase, GLiN Co. has acquired licenses for Code School Finland teaching material for their educational student camps in Japan. GLiN teachers in Japan will be trained fully online by Code School Finland’s trainers in Finland.

Since the Covid-19 outbreak and travel restrictions prevent Japanese students from participating in trained-led coding camps in Finland, this partnership makes the Code School Finland education accessible to them locally in Japan.

In Japan, the Ministry of Education (MEXT) has updated the national curriculum Courses of Study and the roll-out at schools has begun this year. Schools are expected to offer activities for programming and developing logical thinking starting from the primary grades.

Japanese schools are now in need for education that helps to develop the ability to think, make decisions and express oneself. Code School Finland’s pedagogical approach and teaching materials are a perfect fit. We are excited to be the first company in Japan to offer student camps with a focus in Artificial Intelligence.
MR. URABE, CEO OF GLiN, CO., LTD
